Fun fact: While Cacao drink can be date back to ancient Mexico, around 1750 BC, the chocolate we eat now are surprisingly new. The first mass produced chocolate bar was made was made in 1847, while Cacao powder used for drinks are only started to be mass produced after 1800. Before that people use a chocolate paste that is just mostly Cacao grinded up into small and hard to eat bar. Cacao drink then were in very small quantities and is not very refined.
Little did MC realize that chocolate would spell the doom for humanity…
