Feels like the game isn’t a game, but a sort of portal to another world and MC is the guy the gods like the best to save their world without it being known to unfairly ruin someone’s life through summoning them. Plus, they get a lot more manpower to deal with the “demon lord” or whatever. Just my predictions based on what’s gone on so far.
