thats not how it would work. the auction was held in game for gold coins, and when sold it was sold for gold coins he got 30. from there he would have to translate the coins from game to real life with a buyer who was willing to spend $30K and then he would get that notification. If this did not happen this would mean the auction house, the game and maybe even other players could access someones bank account.
