I, a Commoner, Was Actually Reincarnated - Chapter 2
Comments for chapter "Chapter 2"
<the things people below/above already pointed out> +
- She is not a bona fide reincarnated person.
She is still a 13 year old girl, who happened to have a life before this current one.
- Only the memories came back, not her prior personality.
It’s like watching a movie about yourself, while you never done the things you’ve seen there… not to mention that you don’t look like you, you don’t control yourself nor can you influence the story. You’re only watching it as a “3rd person”.
- She is also not influenced by her own past.
When the guy was talking about soy sauce, she did not react like a Japanese person would. She only liked the new taste, because in this life, she has never eaten it.
- The “reincarnation” was only a trigger to change her life.
The only mention of a past life was when she stepped out of the house in the previous chapter and realized, that she wasn’t loved in that other place/time either. We might see some mentions regarding that in the future, but all in all:
This story is not about reincarnation, but about a 100+ year old guy who took in a 13 year old girl and showered her with luxury, because she had value to him.
Please remember this while reading the manga.

The prince just took in a run-away child without even determining the reason she was running away or attempting to contact the mother. Also why is she in love with the weird smelly guy that chased her down out of nowhere? We are just supposed to accept that because he is rich and famous she is instantly in love with him now?
