Life’s complicated i guess. He is both jealous of his girlfriend’s fascination with his Ex and he himself is appreciative of the Ex’s work.
he is in a tight position. So he concludes: fuck it all and lets have sex.
i believe to conduct myself like that too, sometimes.
Obviously he is in a wrong relationship (being a mangaka himself), but we all accept living with pain for far too long before we get our minds straight.
“no pain=no gain” is one of the most harmful and wrong beliefs of this era.
