Wow.. he’s really the chosen one.. with plot armour and everything…

Also the council of 7.. 4 elders should be named the council of plot devices… Reincarnation, regression, foresight, transmigration… Let’s see.. what are other main character tropes..

This means that he doesn’t know yet if he will “reborn” Li He back into the past or not. If it turns out that he will “reborn” Li He, then we all currently exist in a timeline where there are 2 Li He’s. And because we as the audience know there are in fact 2 Li He’s, then that means Redhead will “reborn” Li He.

This seems to mean that Redhead can’t make multiple timelines and to prevent a paradox, he has to “reborn” Li He despite whatever this second Li He does.
Alternatively, if there were multiple timelines, then in the first timeline, Redhead would somehow know he wasn’t in a timeline with 2 Li He regardless of what he does in the future, and hence, wouldn’t say this line.

TL;DR The elders are confusing.
