Man, I am seeing this trend of Hades shitting in manhwas recently. Hades is one of the most tame gods out of all of Olympus in terms of love and relationships. And he always gets shat upon. If I see one more plot where persephone cheats on Hades imma just drop this shit. Hades didn’t even “kidnap” her. It was a misunderstanding in the first place. Most of all, Persephone agrees to it. Also, she can leave the underworld but only for half a year due to some grape which she ate accidentally iirc. Hades and Persephone are one of the healthier couples in Greek mythology and I am tired of this constant attacks on them.

You know, she actually does get to leave the underworld. But it is just that in the original myth, she gets to return home after winter. You see winter is created in Greek mythology when persephone’s mother gets lonely of her daughter’s absence so the start and end of winter correlates to Persephone enters and leaves the underworld. Hades isn’t even a bad dude, he just gets a lot of judgement because he is the “god of the underworld”. He didn’t even really kidnap his wife, he actually got permission from Zeus, so it is more of an arranged marriage. And best of all hades doesn’t even cheat on his wife.
