I usually get annoyed with the misunderstanding trope or MC hiding his power. But the way this manhwa delivers it is genuinely comically good lol.
It’s rare for a misunderstanding story to have the MC actually REALIZE that everyone is just misunderstanding him

If all the Nobles back him and he also rules the Underworld then he holds more power than the King of the nation. The King will likely either try to assassinate him (unlikely) or marry him to a daughter. The King may even go so far as bribery or begging for mercy. Either way MC is now The Eminence In Shadow by literal definition.
