I Became a Patron of Villains - Chapter 4

The bane of every relationship, frontline or story: Communication.
I mean, it probably wouldn’t be much of a story and in this case it broke down in a “positive” way for MC to a degree, but whatever you do, you communicate intentions.
Whether it is a white lie or the absolute truth or whatever in between, if you want things to go a specific way you communicate it.
Every misunderstanding is a failure of words, whether it is the wrong ones or none at all.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m shipping this story. It is nice.
But, we timejumped several years, years of possible communication wasted off-screen. Years of possible story points to show, like, plannings, preparations, goals, setbacks, whatever.
I simply feel like there is a shitton of wasted possibilities to elevate this story further. And you could, like a comedian, still arrive at this very same point.
*shrug*
I feel a little frustrated over this. Still fun to read so far.
