i’ll be honest, based on the “bla bla bla” that sejin’s father said to kang which kang ignored, there’s a pretty much leeway about the ‘condition’.
but as expected, kang kinda hotheaded when he though sejin’s father treat sejin like tool or commodities.
he directly challenge to a duel and the terms directly used the most harsh condition sejin’s dad first said:
original condition: “either sejin win the whcu or kang become son-in-law”
duel condition: “win the duel seijin’s dad won’t interfere with whcu or lose the duel and kang become son-in-law”
that’s a pretty retard hot headed action to be honest.
like kang’s master said, “did sejin asked for help?” or did she grit her teeth and tries to overcome it?
but no.
kang is the type to ‘jump into conclusion and being nosy’ on matters that other’s family matter that he is not involved in.
in the first place, it was just his impression that sejin’s dad regard sejin as tool.
in fact there’s plenty of dad that are just that strict, especially the ones who don’t know how to express their feelings. the stoic type.
