I would say that it’s probably best to trade the rewarded treasure for guaranteed reputation with her and a possible future favor from her. After all, the alternative is either “Snu-Snu” or “getting sucked of all your blood like a human-shaped CapriSun pouch”…

Well you just made a huge hole in her mansion. She gave you permission to search for treasure, not to destroy the place for free. Be grateful she spares you. Also, it’s her place, so obviously it belongs to her. If someone entered your house, dug a hole in the floor in front of you, and found gold, would you let them keep it?
