Uhm, for one, this friendship is cringe, the interaction is a bit too “Friendly”, for two, MC was supposed to hide his abilities, it he ends up in a gulag that’s on him. And lastly, how could you fail so miserably at one job, all you had to do was pass on the stone tablet to him, and all he had to do was stop the monster from getting the tablet, he didn’t even do anything like attack the monster’s hand as it reached for the tablet. 😐 You’d think an Experienced Veteran Abyssal Explorer would know not to underestimate the Abyssal Monsters.
