Holy moly, it was 4 chapters of “character development”, but no one was actually developed. Moreover, we have a hole in the plot (as I remember, White Dragon war took place 500 years ago, so how is there survivor?)

Because their purpose is to subdue the kingdom and prevent them from demon infiltration. Once they may fighting as comrades. No need any death between human.
