I Became the Tyrant of a Defence Game

Bruh 4.8 rating, I was even recommended it and read till chapter 57, but it’s not my taste.
There are too many comedy situations for me to take it seriously (eg. taking a cripple with in the dungeon). Comedy situations come at the cost of less seriousness and less realistic situations and I personally prefer stories with a serious undertone like “Surviving in the Game as a Barbarian”.

Second, Ash is just too carefree. I guess it’s a side effect of the comedy. He supposedly cleared hell-mode, but you won’t notice that from his personality. He also isn’t a strategist, eg. take the situation where the “kill zone” falls apart and he’s completely unprepared for this situation. It’s like he still thinks of this as a game with fixed variables, but he already stated that he understood that this isn’t a game. What a paradox character.

Third, the antagonists are monsters and only monsters. The story isn’t about problems within the city, the persons in the city are always depictured as nice and helpful people and nobody there seems to have any hostility. It isn’t realistic that Ash’s only problems are how to defend the city. Where are the everyday problems?

Fourth, I feel like the story is missing a lot of explanations. Might just be me, though.
I want to know what common sense the people have in this world about buffs, magic, monsters, items, etc. What kind of magic powers there are. How magic is used and what weird items they use. But I also feel a lack of explanations about the system (eg. highest-level equipment breaking after only few medium level monster attacks).
It’s like the author just stamps it all as obvious or “learn by reading”.

There are other points, but I think I covered all the main points why I dropped it.
