the problem is that the pedal is all the way to the floor in every moment…in every sub plot…in every skill or item discovery.
There’s no ebb and flow… Its just flooding through like a collapsed dam.
Chinese manhua treat every skill and potion and monster meat and monster blood (etc) like its some super legendary item.
And treat it “quid pro quo” every time. (this for that)
For instance

Or
