Okay the merchant’s son reminded me of Geo from Gwain Saga is it just me?

The merchant’s eldest son looks like a bad cut and paste from a 1930’s cartoon. I mean, compared to the rest of the characters art style.
I can honestly see any girl that got drunk enough to wake up next to that face…seriously making the right choice to gnaw her own arm off to avoid waking him, and escape.
