You can surely cook rice wit an atomic bomb. The main problem is that you will cook everything in few kilometres’ radius and you’ll be cooked too.

Fun fact, people got surnames after the bubonic plague killed off a huge chunk of the workforce, so they had to move from town to town to harvest the crops.

I don’t get why east Asians think Europeans would describe things like rice, tomatoes, or water as sweet. I mean I get where they’re coming from, but I can’t imagine anyone I know who would actually describe those things that way.

Especially considering Sara says later on that sweets where she comes from are too sweet. Compared to sweets that are too sweet, rice is completely out of scope for the word.
