This is like fast food for me. Not the best but a guilty pleasure. Sure, let’s watch a guy get god level strength. Sure, let’s watch him get all the ladies. And in this universe Dragon Nation is clearly China and the other nations are political adversaries or alien (snow nation=Russia). I believe Taiqi nation is Korea.

I get it. The author is showing us how op and unparalleled his mc is. After saying that the antagonist in this tale are quite mentally challenged. They’re all petty and mean and cartoonishly evil.

Let’s forget the power level differences between mc and enemies. Guy not only beats everyone badly. He gloats. If you’re in good terms with him you’re a good sport. Never on the MCs level but good non the less. If you’re not, you’re directly a waste of space. And that means mc can trample and humiliate you. Even in public gatherings.

And despite knowing all that the antagonist keep taking horrible decisions, like cheating, plot murder or start a war.

It’s just that I wish both sides that had more depth. Crazy I know. Maybe I’m asking too much for a power fantasy. But I’ve read powe fantasies that despite not being a cornerstone of literary excellence, have a solid story, likable characters and worthy adversaries.
