If the MC was more aware and intelligent, this situation would have never occurred.
He read the letter, he saw her frustration and anger, he knew the 2 were out on a quest to make money. He was basically asking for it by choosing the dumbest decision.
He could’ve shut his trap and waited for those 2 to come back to sort things out before revealing that he is the person she was aiming to kill. Or, explain the situation from a bystander’s POV, as to discreetly divulging the fact that the slavery contract is a type of debt contract and that the owner hasn’t laid a had on her two friends (all while keeping his identity hidden).

I’m so pissed, this manga has some good potential but the author needs to make some changes. like giving the mc a change of heart or completely changing his personality for the better. Also, this fanservice is trash, we dont care about looking at their buts we want to see some sex

I still don’t understand the point of a bet instead of just paying everyone to lie and pretend a crime never occurred in the first place no crime no punishment which is different from being pardoned for the crime as that means the crime still occurred and we no that they can’t let a crime go unpunished in this world hence removing the crime at least the murder attempt part of it

Hmmm, so a newly established producer with only one contact vs that same contact who has ties with a nations worth of customers in a bid to see who can make the most money.
Yeah the MC loses.
while the merchant laid down some ground rules against the MC, did it get established how they would make that money?
like “design a new product and whoever sells the most wins”.
the MC would still lose but still
