Why land in the street in the middle of town and have to fight the horde? Why not aim for the big a$$ palace or at least right in front said palace? It just gives the badguy time to escape. This kinda trope is frustrating.

I can’t believe that back in the beggining of this I said that lil’ daughter was going to ruin the story.
As much as I hate being wrong I’m very happy to admit it this time.
The mum/daughter team are a great ‘lightener’ of this whole thing.
