This took both entirely too long and then he just kind of wins despite being weaker in every aspect.
I would have liked the loner vs harem master to actually make a difference, but it doesn’t. He’s apparently out of aura and mana and keeps going at a level of an opponent who is his superior in every aspect, including, somewhat importantly, reach.
This ending feels just kind of tryhard for the sake of it. Which I dislike because up until we got to this stupid tree, I was really liking this story.
This is so peak I can’t wait for the next chapter
