So, I read this chapter and in the first half, I was thinking about how in the process of saving someones life, it caused my to be injured and that ended my plans at the time and threw my life into turmoil. I suffered from severe depression over it, and I lost so much that it still impacts me to this day…but the person I saved is happily married, has three children, and that is what helped me escape from depression. Even when it creeps back and stars gnawing at me, knowing that those children exist and are happy and I am the reason why…Sacrifice well worth it.
Then I got to finish this chapter, and I get slapped in the face with, “YOU HOMEWRECKING SLUUUUUUUUUT!!!!” (we know it’s an illusion, but she doesn’t!)
