Meh. I simply read this part of the story as that the author wrote himself into a corner.
The premise of this arch is that they didn’t kill (or at least arrest) the director first chance because reasons.
I write “because reasons” because there weren’t any. He already was in a scandal and his reputation down the dumps.
It even goes against the supposed first timeline where the director started an event that killed a bunch of students while he fled in the chaos and wasn’t seen ever since.

But (because reasons) he instead is unquestioned in power (because reasons) and has to be brought down by another scandal(s) (because reasons).
And (because reasons) baddy isn’t able to cut the stream and claim technical difficulties.

The scandals are:

1. The students can get hurt in the test (made up by OP). They only can, if Mr DFB ring is interfering personally. But that is not what MC is presenting.
2. The difficulty level is set too high making students fail on purpose. And is a scandal because reasons (as that is well known and a selling point for the school)
3. Items given (sponsored by rich people) to the school for the purpose of aiding the students are placed basically unreachable for the students. Also a scandal because reasons. Basically a nothing burger at this point as no student ever has found them. The only way that could be one is if the director claimed some where found off camera and he pocketed those.

TF? And they kept the viewers, how? Reminder they already streamed for hours, maybe even longer than half a day. In which they had a long strategical meeting, outside of the camera view. Wandered around for hours. And only had a few fights in between.
People watching that are usually asleep. According to YT and YT exploiters.

And MC’s fakery might get exposed and that would restore the reputation of Goo guy. Who is MC? Witsit? Does MC also thinks the earth is flat?
