Manga adaptations exist pretty much only to sell light novels, so they can’t tell the whole story. Animes are even worse; they tell even less than the manga. If they can get you to watch the anime, then read the manga, then finally read the light novel to get the rest of the story, they see it as an absolute win. (/Professor Hulk meme/)

Honestly this was fantastic, I would’ve loved the ending but it feels like a copout, a lot of unanswered questions. We know they left to go searching for him, so what happens to them now? They don’t get answers?
