The skellies being the ones with potential instead of the MC is a pretty good spin on this generic ass plot.

While it’s somewhat justifiable in universe, it’s still a huge asspull something like that to happen
I mean, the skeletons are D rank how he can measure potential (which is something not yet achieved) by looking at D rank
