The MC obviously doesn’t understand the concept of the butterfly effect. The fairy godmother helped Cinderella because she was mistreated and her dress was ruined by her siblings. The MC changed a crucial part of the story from the beginning! Now there’s no glass slipper, and even if there was… there’s no reason for her to run away at midnight.
And yes, I know I’m being captain obvious right now. I’m just ranting.
