I disagree with Vash standing. In asian culture we said , leave no sprout. Do not leave any probabilty of danger to rise again.
By eliminating them early, we have saved countless people future people thay may involved and bled like the knights.
His sons might be spoiled specialy since they were raised under such conditions but they are still young.
He might not spare the guy that lifted his blade against him because that is treason but if he does and him and his brother live out their life as normal peasants withouth going into criminality or plotting revenge he should let them be.
Of course being raised in a lavish life style and not being taught what propper morality or common sense is seems that will lead them down a rocky road when they have to start from zero.
As for the baron and the baroness … they need to lose weight equivalent to the mass of their head, swiftly.
