A huge huge part of the yellow turban troops are made up of commoners, peasants, the you and me. Most of them don’t truly want to fight. They believe they have no choice, no where else to go. They bought into a cult (the Taiping Cult) which started this whole rebellion and turned them into a terrorist militant group. Poor folks just want to live.
if the damage to a spleen was clean cut and less than 3 cm it could be stitched and saved. I feel like it would take more time and effort to remove it since you would have to cut all the adjoining tissue away and suture the blood vessels not to mention the spleen plays a major role in preventing infections so….. but does it really matter to the story? the guys gonna die in the next battle not this one. 😉
