Imagine being so into a story, Three Kingdoms in this case, that you write a isekai-style fan fiction reincarnation novel and start having your stand-in meet the characters and talk about their motivations. Then that’s popular enough that someone makes that into a manhwa. Then that gets translated from your original language into English. You’d be like, whoa, people really love me! But in reality each step just kind of happened and the readers don’t know anything about you except to wonder why people on the other side of the planet are so obsessed with the Three Kingdoms…
