Medical grade gloves are sterile and one time use. Where is the guy going to find the facilities to manufacture those.
You have a much higher risk of infection with any type of leather or cloth gloves vs just washing your hands. Not to mention they are permeable and won’t stop anything from passing thru.
And we haven’t talked about any hinderance to holding the scalpel or needle. Cmon kid think harder. Do better

…It’s a little disappointing to just skip all that and jump right to the middle of surgery.
That said… in this story, I think some of my favorite surgeries were when there were complications. I wonder if the seeds are being set for the granddaughter to commit medical malpractice. If so, that could be an exhilarating plot.
Also, at the moment, I’m disappointed in… what was his name? I think he’s Bong’s grandson or nephew? I’d like to get to know him (and Obo) better… but the story’s done next to nothing with him. I’d almost prefer to have Physician Bong back, if only because he and Hwa at least had some character dynamics.
