This reads like a very long Naruto filler arc. 
Like when they’re trying to give some time for the main story to progress. Maybe it’s the same here, the anime has caught with the manhwa.

I haven’t complained about this in a while, but this is seriously a really long back story that I haven’t gotten anything really from and I’m going back to wondering when it’ll end

everyone thinks that this is a backstory filler,, but i think the OG mc we all thought was not the mc.. the younger leader is.. and the og mc died in that battle and regressed.. and the shadow that was telling the story/future events to the YL was actually the OG mc.. and from now the YL will be the OG MC and the story will go on from this timeline.. we might not see the end of the OG MC battle!!
i kind of like YL over OG MC..
anyways it’s just a thought
