Im so confused. One explanation is the regression with Jangs memories of the alternate future…. but he kinda walking through the plotholes of the “missing” first greetings that Jang had to deal with. So what is it?

So MC becomes something akin to a force ghost who went to a past timeline and is guiding the body he possessed originally in how to change the future? This is confusing as hell

So, for people who have reached this point in the story and are confused. This is still the past leading up to when he dies.
I’m assuming that the hourglass, when it was broken, sent Jagak’s memories into the past, potentially even making him the heavenly demon we’ve been seeing.
The Young Leader is using those memories in an attempt to change the future, ironically I think just making it happen. This event is when the Lustful title was given to him.
Him attempting to change the future is exactly why, in the first season, people kept saying he was unpredictable.
Eventually, he’s going to end up in that cave. He most likely is the one who wrote the heavenly demon art on the wall for Jagak to learn.
It is the prophecy fallacy. Knowing the future and attempting to change it only makes it happen.
