So weird that the demon wasn’t Yang Jagak but rather his supressed memories because the heavenly demon arts was to strong for a baby and the mother.
It makes this an endless time traveling loop.

It was evident that MC was meeting his destiny on the road he took to avoid it (since the rumors of his proclivities for drugs and brothels, his paranoid ramblings in his journal, Ma Chunso joining the Heavenly Palace, him ending up at beauty peak, etc. were all ending up exactly as in the original timeline from the external perspective, despite the underlying truth of the situation being different), but I didn’t expect that he was Yang Jagak the entire time, and that his time travelling cause his severed meridians and the death of his mother.
