Errgh…. i had such high hopes for this series. Why would you make the MC struggle pathetically alread? Against a guy that just been introduced an has a minor role in the hierarchy he is trying to climb. This fight sets the standard for all fights after. Why would any story teller go “ok im gonna make my MC look weak after ive made him act all superior”…. thats behavioural traits you put in an snotty antagonist! Not the MC…… i dont get it
