A few things.
1st: A shopkeeper that chases people away from his shop will not be a successful business. The trope of the blacksmith with the unexplained ability to judge peoples skill that refuses business constantly would never actually work. They would be either homeless from a failed business or they would only blacksmith as a hobby and have another way to support themselves.
2nd: The Prostitute just left a brothel after having asked for a room to be cleaned up for her. She probably needs to bathe to cleanse the filth of the previous customer before offering services again. This MC is kinda nasty asking her for services immediatly after seeing that.
Bro why are there always skewers like in such a world metal would be dificult to be made in such thin form for that many skewers and if it made from wood they probs don’t even have the technology to make itsmooth and safe
And… there exists other food too
So, in next chapter are they gonna do it 
just walk down the street like that she has some guts
