It would have been wise for her to consider saving money and planning for her future to empower herself and escape her situation. The author seems to continuously place her in emotionally taxing scenarios, which can be frustrating. The prince’s behavior is disappointing, and it’s hard to overlook the negative influences from her father and others that contributed to her struggles in her first life. While she does bear some responsibility for her choices, it’s clear that her past experiences significantly shaped her current situation.
