I guess you’re right but it’s for the plot and have some « revenge » satisfaction. Nobody want to read a realistic webcomic

Wow, you’re so passionate! Unfortunately, it seems you have an inability to cohesively form solid arguments without relying on subjective modifiers and biased language : ). Firstly, as far as position goes, hers is fairly negligible. Sure, in name she is the daughter of a Duke, but even within her family the maids and servants mistreated her. I hope you have the understanding necessary to deduce that if maids dared to mistreat the daughter of a Duke, then a Count wouldn’t think twice. She is presumed to be talentless and weak with no solid background to defend her, so even if his actions aren’t correct socially, he won’t be punished (in his mind, clearly we know he is lacking information). Also, when it comes to royal affairs, often times nobility pick sides–after all only one of the children will become the Emperor. The general public believes that the 13th Prince is also talentless and weak, so, as you said, he is in disfavour. He and our mc are alone; even if she were to recount what had happened, why would she be believed over him if she were to snitch? Or do you presume she would be the one to hand out the punishment? As explained above, she has a very low actual status. Also, as our mc is a character formulated by our author, only the author has the ability to say what she “would have” done. You are a reader (if perhaps, you didn’t know)
