What constitutes a bad person in the eyes of the East? I’m curious, as I have read so many stories of the MC not killing adversaries because they are “not bad people”, even though they tried to kill, kidnap, rape, rob, or harm him or those close to him.
It is always brushed under the rug with a “I stopped them so nothing actually happened” type of reasoning, as if attempted murder is not a crime. Some of the worst villains are redeemed to travel with MC, while others who truly didn’t do anything that terrible are crushed with over-the-top righteous anger.
