I think when her magic was initially tested it described both her hair and eyes turned blue; it was later that it was described as blue and green. One or the other could have translated wrong. Or just call it aqua and wait for the next TL to call it orange or something.

For those wondering the kanji for blue can also mean green in some contexts. That is likely the discrepancy. She likely has blue eyes but the translator made an error at some point. In the past many cultures in many languages didn’t distinguish blue from green.
