The most immediate conclusion I can think of is the original creation of the elemental spirits.
Ice was the one element that never went into its creation, so my hypothesis is it’s trying to resurrect itself, and make itself stronger by becoming “whole”, so to speak. By remaking itself with the powers of *all* the spirits this time, including Ice.
