This is exactly the point where he should mention that he is still considering his options and fish out much bigger salary. Maybe walk out in order to fully utilize the “fear of loss”. 😀

even though he is having a good time in the empire id still want to stay with my friends and what if he did not want to leave his new friends and not be a special wizard corps thing this make me majorly Suspicious of the empire and their Goals

The author in a rush? I guess short and frequent is better than long and slow. Although most Korean Manhua manage to hit that sweet spot of long and frequent.
