The story hasn’t done a good job of developing the mc. What’s his motivation or goals? It’s weird that he just accepts a new position without knowing what it’s about, and we don’t know why he did it. Money, reputation, was going as high as possible in the military his ambition? Did he even want to join the military in the first place? He ended up here because of a letter of recommendation, but mc never said what kind of work he was looking for

I’m kind of sick and tired of the Japanese “extreme power with extreme humility” trope they keep doing. It’s why I’ve been preferring Korean manhwa more recently.
I like how Oscar doesn’t get flustered when women are close to his face. And doesn’t get too surprised unless he’s didn’t it.
