This is so bad, at least the other story start with a weak MC/ a MC who want to actually try to hide his power, to even try to explain why he was exiled. This is just dumb, that guy can destroy the whole world if he want, and he just let it happen even thiugh he wanted to join. The other characters are dumb too, a magic that doesn’t exist in this world? Doesn’t that mean he has more potential? Tldr, bad writing.
Wow, perhaps one of the worst beginnings of these expulsion stories from the hero’s group. The goddess must have had the minimum intelligence to know that he would have different abilities, and she could have intermediated a second test, or something similar.
Idk. I’ve never liked exiled stories. It just doesn’t work. If he just did some normal magic after trying the diamond thing it would be all good.
A much better plot could be that he finds out the human kingdom is corrupt so he goes to the demons instead.

This is stupid. He’s in a world where they can’t make artificial diamonds by any means, so as far as anyone is concerned the diamond he has can not have been made artificially… so it has to be treated as ‘real’. So trot off to a jewellers and sell it. It’s not going to turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight so what’s all this drivel about being afraid of being called a ‘scammer’ ? Even the King said there aren’t any spells to make diamonds, which makes you wonder why he let him keep what must be a big real diamond when he had him tossed out.
I always love the in these types of ‘tests’ having a result of ‘zero combat score’ or the ‘device malfunctioning’ and the characters always come to the conclusion that the person doing said ‘test’ is WEAK, and then after like 10 or 20 chapters in the story, they’re powers will be known throughout the continent and the people would STILL refuse to acknowledge the power of the MC deeming it blasphemy or the use of black magic, colluding with demons etc.
I know it’s probably for the plot of the story, but it’s really a great way to grind people’s gears.
