They say “Combined Hero” way too much. He needs a better name, like “Hero”. Call the other dude’s “Hero Candidates” or something. Combined Hero does not sound cool at all.

MC wants a crack at the goddess who dragged him there, he trained up the Demon Queen so she can crush the combined hero and hopefully draw the Goddess out.
Also the Demons really need a win to rebuild pride after so long under the boot.

They are NOT Hero Candidates. They are fodder, fuel to be consumed by the actual Hero. Their skills and powers are to be hoovered out, and the waste meat disposed of. Nothing more, nothing less.
