The movie’s premise reminds me a little of Deep Cover (1992) starring Laurence Fishburne. It had one classic line I’ll never forget:
(When Fishburne’s overachieving undercover character asks his handler what to do with the surplus of drugs he’s bought up which the department lacks the budget to absorb): “You’re a drug dealer…deal drugs!”
