I don’t know why he is unhappy with him, he was friendly, beat him formally and fair, gave him a decent offer, and he isn’t really indebted to the nation he was fighting for since he was a drafted orphan

Why can’t majority of OP and/or broken mcs just…NOT get a dam love interest 
. I say this because, majority of the times authors’ does this trope (whether it be manhwas, mangakas, or just straight up regular novel authors) has two major flaws to the romantic interest and it has always irk and rubbed me the wrong way whenever I either read or watch it happen.
And before someone gets on my metaphorical a*s on this I’ll say this. Yes, I get why a love interest should happen to them but there’s always the huge flaws they have when written for mc’s who are supposed to be either overpowered or broken, or at times both.
As for the flaws I’m talking about, it’s either obliviousness on the mc’s and love interest’s behalf, or becomes a dam gag on the love interest’s and also the mc’s behalf, which is annoying because it’s honestly unnecessary to even have.
