I finally caught up to this chapter of this manhwa sadly, but at what cost

Also, why didn’t he…you know, try to tame it 
, since you’re supposed try to tame it (or in his case, take his summon 😒, since he has already severed someone else’s contact to a beast at age 7) once said beast or mythical being is summoned, BEFORE deciding to fight it. Honestly NOT everything has to be about brute force when it comes to summoning first.
I also didn’t want to bring this up until now in this chapter of the manhwa but, some of the writing and even dialogues in certain chapters don’t make sense at all and just has me question some of the obvious stuff I should already know, even when I pretend my brain turned off, I question certain things

how is this a summoning exam? i mean shouldnt he have to use summons to show that is a qualified summoner? based on this every faculty/student should be able to become some rank of summoner just cuz they can beat one
I was hoping he would tame the summon LOL
