This was a terrible “ambush”. They could have hidden and surrounded the army and walled them all in immediately considering how many villagers can build walls now.

He deadass ran straight into them. While outnumbered by a multiple… It’s okay with ars, his brother and the hero since they op. But how will strategy work with the townsfolk. The causalities here would be astronomic

He says spear, but that looks more like a staff 
That isn’t a bad thing, though. Staffs can be just as effective as spears, and can more easily knock people out without killing when the need arises.
