If you sell in bulk for less than one of the smallest denomination per unit, then either he resells in bulk or he’s guaranteed profit. The amounts the mc is selling for the amount of coppers he’s getting, it’s nearly 100% guaranteed the peddler is going to make a huge profit on all of the items.
