I was thinking about this chapter, and remembering that not only lloyd was using a absurd amount of mana in the past chapters, now he is using 100× mana for them. It would not be absurd to think that those two speels would be at least 10% of the mana he used before activating the 100× bind. And it is even worse because he didn’t stop giving mana to the 10 thousand soldiers (maybe only 7 thousand since a lot of them were demolished), and Veda’s ability most certainly also accounts for that mana even if it’s not directed at him.

Shortly: even though Veda’s hability isn’t accounting the mana that lloyd was using before he got in the area of his hablity, by this point lloyd was using 1000% more mana then he used before the bind every 5 minutes iirc (not accounting the mana price of the other speels he used) and his mana level didn’t even budge, he used less than 0,(many zeros)1% of his mana.

Makes you think why he was even worried about running out of mana, probably because he never tested out how much mana he has in that body, which doesn’t seem typical to lloyd, who would even risk having his soul return to his previous body, why wouldn’t he try out his mana?
The only logical answer is that he tried, but it was taking so long that he got tired of it. TIRED OF IT, THE MAGIC MANIAC.

Or that design choice on the mana level was just to make lloyd aura farm and he actually was using much more than that.
